Truth
Scout to the Pole extensively explores the “Problem of Truth” in society. It explains that the need to have a “common social truth”, which was generally the case within nations in ancient times, is one of the most pressing social problems of modern society. The reason for this shortcoming is what the book calls, “The MULTIPLE RELIGIONS PROBLEM”. This problem affects the concept of truth throughout all human interactions, not just religion. The reason for using a religious connotation to name the problem is because the tolerance of different religions within a single nation was the original cause of the problem and that problem still exists. This ancient problem still remains a primary driver of social unrest as its cultural implications have spread throughout secular institutions, particularly throughout governments.
